Housebuilder launches affordable homes development

Galliard Homes has launched a scheme of 119 new apartments in Luton, which are all priced below £250,000.

‘The Landmark’ development has transformed the former Whitbread headquarters into a scheme of studio, one and two-bedroom apartments along with a hotel style foyer, resident’s courtyard and parking facilities.

80% of the new homes are priced between £149,995 and £200,000 to allow first time buyers to get onto the housing ladder.

Stephen Conway, Chief Executive of Galliard Homes said: “The Landmark is part of our ‘Get on the Ladder’ campaign to provide hundreds of new homes across London and the surrounding commuter region priced below £300,000.

“Over the past 14 months, Galliard Homes has sold over 600 starter homes and we are proud to continue our role in providing much needed entry level housing.”

David Galman, Sales Director at Galliard Homes added that The Landmark would provide stylish and contemporary homes with a level of luxury, rarely attainable outside the capital.

“The project will set a new quality benchmark in the Luton new homes market, and if our previous starter homes launches are anything to go by, we may have queues and rapid sales.

“We advise anyone interested in buying one of these starter homes to register their interest with us now and start queuing early to avoid disappointment.”
