Keltbray launches new business after acquiring assets from collapsed Dunne Group

Keltbray Group has announced that it will be launching a reinforced concrete frame business.

The engineering, construction and demolition specialists announced it would be launching Keltbray Structures after acquiring some assets from Dunne Group’s administrators.

Dunne Group specialised in reinforced concrete foundations and superstructures for buildings.

Keltbray will now use these assets to strengthen its capability and services portfolio to provide demolition, groundworks, pilling and concrete structures solutions.

Brendan Kerr, chief executive of Keltbray Group, felt that it would benefit from tapping into Dunne Group’s capabilities and the acquisition of some of its assets.

“Keltbray Structures has the potential to complement and expand our existing portfolio, which is already unrivalled in the UK, and help us to further develop our expertise and differentiation in line with market demands.

“With our financial resources behind it, I believe there is considerable scope for increasing the service offering and profitability of our business through this development, and give us a better geographical reach to other parts of the UK, including Scotland.”

John Price, managing director of Keltbray Group, will become the CEO for Keltbray Structures and will be supported by Gordon Dunne, former head of Dunne Group and Andy McClafferty, former deputy managing director of Keltbray Demolition & Civil Engineering.
