Famous movie home up for sale following renovation

A house used in the filming of the Harry Potter movies is up for sale for £475,000.

The three-bedroom home in Martins Heron, Bracknell, was used as 4 Privet Drive, the house where Harry Potter grew up.

Following a complete renovation, the property has now been listed on Rightmove through estate agents Chancellors.

Rightmove has reported that the property has already had around 200,000 views with interest from many Harry Potter fans.

Chancellors has also seen plenty of inquiries about the property with Daniel Mourton from the estate agency stating: “We’ve seen an unprecedented level of interest in the Harry Potter house from all over the world.

“We are, of course, screening applications very carefully, but we are already in receipt of offers on the property – excluding a not-so-genuine one from ‘Ron Weasley’.”

The property has had a refitted kitchen and breakfast room, along with a new driveway and an upgraded house alarm system as well as many further improvements throughout.

Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, it is convenient for Martins Heron railway station and is around 50km west of London.

Viewings for the property are strictly by appointment only.
