The club hopes to expand its Moor Lane ground following two consecutive promotions.
The redeveloped stadium will be able to hold 5,108 fans and features a 600-capacity supporters club.
Salford City believes that following the promotions the layout and facilities of Moor Lane need to be upgraded.
It has therefore formulated plans and is now ready to submit a planning application to Salford City Council.
Salford City’s co-owners include former Manchester United footballers Gary Neville, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Phil Neville and Nicky Butt, as well as Singaporean businessman Peter Lim.
This stadium redevelopment will be yet another project Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs will be taking on in the North West.
In August, the pair revealed major plans to build a mixed-use development in Manchester, while in December last year they partnered with a developer to convert the city’s former stock exchange building into a boutique hotel.
