The lender appointed Steve Grant to develop its property finance business in the North of England earlier this year, but UTB has also seen a steady increase in demand for development finance across the country.
Noel Meredith, executive director of United Trust Bank, said it was continuing to grow and invest in its development finance division despite the uncertainty in the economy following Brexit.
“While there’s no doubt that 2017 will bring some challenges, we’re confident about the future and committed to supporting SME developers by providing the financial backing for some of the hundreds of thousands of new homes we need to keep building if we’re going to tackle the UK’s housing shortage.
“As such, we’re looking to recruit an experienced property finance banker who will help to ensure that we can continue to provide the highest levels of service to our existing customers and supporting brokers, while at the same time growing the division by introducing UTB’s award-winning development finance offering to new broker contacts and developers.”
Those interested in joining UTB’s development finance team, should contact the bank’s human resources department at recruitment@utbank.co.uk.
