Lendy strengthens senior team

Peer-to-peer platform Lendy has made three new appointments to its senior team.

Shane Lewin has been recruited as compliance officer, Shaun Reynolds joins as development finance support manager and Pamela Guillamon has been hired as international marketing manager.

Prior to joining Lendy, Shane (pictured above) recently served in the commercial lending division of OneSavings Bank.

He has more than 15 years of experience in financial services, including spells in the UK regulatory assurance team of Arthur J Gallagher and as the operations and compliance director of a residential mortgage broker.

Shaun (pictured above) has previously held commercial banking manager roles at both HSBC and Clydesdale Bank and has more than 30 years of experience in global banking.

Pamela (pictured above) has served as a regional sales and sponsorship manager at Orolia, which is part of the positioning, navigation and tracking product company McMurdo Group.

She speaks Spanish and Portuguese, in addition to English, and has a degree in business administration, marketing and public relations.

Shane will take charge of Lendy’s regulatory compliance, Shaun will work on its portfolio of property developments loans, while Pamela will coordinate the social media programme along with customer relationships and partnerships.

“This raft of new appointments will significantly help [to] improve Lendy’s offering of products and services to our users,” said Liam Brooke, co-founder of Lendy.

“We are continually looking to improve and develop our due diligence and compliance processes so that we can provide our investors with the best investment opportunities available, and these appointments will help us do just that.”

Lendy has also made additions to its IT team by recruiting two new developers.

Stephen Guinn has joined as an IT developer.

Stephen has over 10 years of development experience, including a recent spell at the Lend Lease Group.

Scott Austin, who has a first in software engineering, has been hired as a software developer.

Scott will be designing, building and maintaining systems that improve business efficiency at Lendy.
