Building I at Central Park

Construction begins on major Dublin office development

Green REIT PLC has begun the construction of Building I at Central Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18.

The building will cover approximately 9,300 square metres (100,000 sq ft) of office space, with 156 basement car parking spaces.

The developer has already excavated the double level basement car park as part of the development of the adjacent Building H, the new home of Allied Irish Bank.

The building will feature employee facilities such as dedicated shower and bike storage as well as large terraces on the penthouse floor offering views across the Dublin Mountains.

Central Park has 79,000 square metres (850,000 sq ft) of built space and a total contracted rent of €23.7m per annum (£20.8m).

Paul Culhane, development director of Green Property REIT Ventures, said: “We are pleased to commence the construction of our next office building in what is widely acknowledged as Dublin’s premier office park, and we look forward to adding to the list of blue-chip tenants in the park which includes AIB, Ulster Bank, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Vodafone and Salesforce.”

The scheme is scheduled for completion in Q4 2018.
