Homes England to exhibit at MIPIM 2018

Homes England has announced that it will be part of a significant cross-government presence at this year’s MIPIM event in Cannes between 13-16th March.


The delegation will be led by the Department for International Trade and co-ordinated by the Capital Investment directorate as the government looks to present a unified voice to the investor and regional property community.

The government will have a prominent pavilion space at the event and is partnering with the British Property Federation to run an activity programme which promotes UK investment opportunities.

Homes England will also be running its own programme of events over three days in Cannes, giving attendees the chance to hear from its leadership team on subjects such as strategic housing growth, modern methods of construction, design and quality.

The events include:

Tuesday 13th March

11.00-11.50: Construction, productivity and automation with Stephen Kinsella, director at Homes England

Wednesday 14th March

10.00-10.50: Homes England – Nick Walkley, CEO at Homes England, and Sophie White, head of infrastructure

15.00-15.50: Strategic housing growth with Edward Lister, chairman at Homes England, and Tom Walker, deputy CEO at Homes England

16.00-16.50: Design and quality with Louise Wyman, head of strategy at Homes England

17.00-17.50: Housing – the modern way with Gordon More, chief investment officer at Homes England

Thursday 15th March

11.00-11.50: Northern Powerhouse with Louise Wyman, head of strategy at Homes England

12.00-12.50: Funding for growth with Edward Lister, chairman at Homes England.

The Homes England team will also be working with combined authorities and city regions attending MIPIM on joint activity, including the Northern Powerhouse and Midlands Engine.
