The proposals include plans for 70 units to accommodate 365 students and new commercial space for shops, cafes or a gym.
The accommodation has been designed around groups of four and eight bedrooms with shared living space.

The proposals – which were developed by Whittam Cox Architects – will add bespoke student accommodation to the existing mix of residents and businesses currently in phase one of the development and are shortly to be joined by phase two, which is starting later this year.
Councillor Jack Scott, cabinet member for development and transport at Sheffield City Council, said that Park Hill was quite simply one of the most iconic places to be in Sheffield.
“It’s a major European architectural landmark.
“These sensible plans are a further sign of the growing confidence in Sheffield.”
