The 10-acre site will also feature a 15,500 sq ft office building.
Readie was selected following an in-depth tender process, which it won due to its innovative use of prefabricated elements.
As main contractor, Readie will work with UMC Architects, consulting engineering companies TR Collier Associates and Hoare Lea, as well as chartered surveyors and construction consultants Martin Arnold.

Groundwork has already begun on the site, with construction of shell and core set for completion in early 2019.
The internal fit-out of production and office spaces will be ready to commence in spring 2019.
Berkeley’s modular factory will produce finished modules complete with plumbing, electrics and internal finishing, including flooring and fittings that can be configured to form housing units.
The development will also create up to 240 permanent jobs for local people.
