The St Johns Property Fund (SJPF) recently paid £9.9m for Darlington North retail park, which includes anchor tenants such as Aldi and Iceland.
The fund includes a mixed-sector portfolio consisting of 54 tenants in 24 locations and comprises leisure, industrial, retail, automatic and office investments in strategic locations.
Richard Bryan, property manager at SJPF, said that the fund, which was set up in 2013, would keep on growing.

“We’re considering a number of sites, but have ample resources to look for more opportunities.
“The fund’s investment approach is to secure a diverse portfolio with solid income and the prospect of capital appreciation.
“We want to understand our tenants’ businesses and to support them to have a successful tenure.
“We want SJPF to be a landlord of choice and to be approachable to tenants, rather than hindering them with bureaucracy that stops them making best use of the property.”
