The project will deliver 55 new luxury homes, comprising three- and four-bedroom family units with a choice of 11 different house types.
Work on the site infrastructure has begun, with construction set to begin on St John’s Fold early next year.
Sue Waudby, marketing and sales director at Beal Homes, said: “Beverley is a beautiful and very popular place and we’ve been looking for the perfect location for a development in the town for quite some time.

“St John’s Fold is in a lovely leafy setting on Woodmansey Mile, close to Long Lane, and within easy walking distance of all Beverley’s fabulous attractions, shops and restaurants.
“The development is likely to be especially popular with families due to its close proximity to Keldmarsh Primary and Beverley Grammar – both very good schools.”
Chris Murphy, associate land director at Beal Homes (pictured above), added: “Beverley is one of the most popular places to live in East Yorkshire and well beyond.
“St John’s Fold occupies a prime location within the town.
“It’s close to Beverley town centre and just a few minutes to transport links to Hull, York and Leeds.
“We aim to have completed the development within two years.”
