Aldermore provides £1.2m loan for development on outskirts of Bristol

Aldermore has delivered a £1.2m property development loan for a residential scheme near Bristol.

The specialist bank has provided the funding to Somerset-based project management and development company Alexander James Cox Ltd.

The developer has completed more than 29 units across Somerset and the Bristol area over the last 15 years.

The funding will support the construction of three detached four-bedroom houses in Almondsbury.

Greg Pescott, property development manager at Aldermore, said: “We have really enjoyed working with Alexander James Cox and allowing [it] to achieve [its] vision.

“We are proud that Graham [Cox, managing director] and his team chose us and are delighted to have played a part in helping the business evolve.

“[Its] dynamic attitude and passion for [its] project was evident from the outset, and we are very much looking forward to this being a long and fruitful partnership.”
