The project — which is located at the junction of Waterdale and Chequer Road in Doncaster town centre — will see four existing buildings consolidated into a cultural and learning centre, which will feature a new library, rail heritage centre, art gallery and museum.
The transformational project was designed by architect Bond Bryan and will be overseen by Doncaster Council.

“We are delighted to have such an important role creating projects that are shaping Doncaster’s future for many decades to come,” said Anthony Dillon, managing director at Willmott Dixon in the North.
“Each one will attract new investment and create jobs that support Doncaster’s growth plans.”
The scheme is expected to reach completion in summer 2020.
