Puma Property Finance provides £17.5m facility for 240-bed Edinburgh hotel

Puma Property Finance has agreed to provide a £17.5m loan facility for the development of a new hotel at Edinburgh airport.

The six-storey building will be part of the Hampton by Hilton brand and comprises 240 bedrooms.

Alice Myers, managing director at Puma Property Finance (pictured above), said: “Showing the breadth of our lending throughout the UK, this is the third development we have financed in Scotland in the past year.

“It also reflects our ability to transact across a range of sectors, which includes residential, commercial and specialist sector projects, such as healthcare, hotels and student accommodation.”

This announcement follows Puma Property Finance’s recent completion of a £9.5m loan to fund the development of a care home in Greater Manchester.
