All 264 properties of the four, 12-storey tower blocks owned by Birmingham City Council have had EnviroVent wall-mounted positive input ventilation units installed.

The energy-efficient ventilation units were installed to combat condensation and mould issues that were at risk of increasing due to external wall insulation being fitted.

The refurbishments will increase the thermal warmth of the properties and, thus, reduce fuel bills.
A spokesperson for Birmingham City Council said: “Despite a challenging set of circumstances to ensure the stringent consistency of each installation and the technicalities to comply with the regulations, EnviroVent’s technical assistance and expert installations team was second to none in ensuring that everything ran smoothly.
