Lovell Partnerships has appointed Paul Devaney as area director, who will be responsible to expand the company’s presence in the North East.
Paul has more than 33 years of experience in the industry, having previously worked for Avant Homes, Persimmon Homes and Keepmoat Homes.
He will join technical manager, David Atkinson, and assistant land buyer, Grady Finlay.
Together, they will operate from Lovell’s Leeds office, with the aim of moving into a new hub in the North East soon.
“I’m delighted to be starting the next chapter of my career with Lovell and can’t wait to get stuck into my new role,” said Paul.
“This is naturally the next step for me, having spent much of my career in commercial roles, and I’m really excited.
“Lovell has an incredibly strong reputation in the industry and is always striving to grow and improve its offering through alliance with other industry leaders.
“This resonates with me as developing relationships is at the core of everything I do.”
Robert Adams, regional managing director at Lovell, added: “Our focus is on creating new and exciting communities for people across the region, and recruiting the right people is at the heart of that ethos.

“The first half of 2021 has already seen us welcome several accomplished new starters to Lovell, and Paul is very much one of these.
“His extensive experience in the industry combined with his management skills make him a natural fit for us and we can’t wait to see what happens in the North East as he takes the helm of our push to expand in this area.”
The developer has already secured its first two sites in the North East — Spennymoor and Ormesby — for which work will begin in January 2022.
Brickflow has recruited Tim Noble as lending director and Chris Meyer as key account director.
Tim has 40 years of banking experience, the last 30 of which have been spent providing residential development finance to UK housebuilders.
During his career, Tim held senior positions at Paragon Bank, Bank Leumi, Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander, and Close Property Finance.
Meanwhile, Chris has spent 28 years providing funding support services to practices, firms and brokers in the professions and insurance sector.
Prior to joining Brickflow, he worked in senior sales roles with an AIM-listed provider of funding solutions, a French high-end fashion finance business, and Premium Credit Limited.
The appointments will enable the company to increase the number of lenders plugged into its platform and extend its support to professionals working within the property development sector.
Since its launch, 29 lenders have joined Brickflow.
Commenting on his appointment, Tim said: “My years as a development finance lender means I can advise developers on their loan requirements, help with online applications, and manage applications so they secure the most suitable funding for their projects.”
Chris is equally keen to share his expertise with the wider market, adding that he would ensure professionals with clients who have difficulties accessing funding are signposted to Brickflow’s solution.
