Both will be based in the firm’s Milton Keynes office to support the business’ needs, using their expertise in the commercial control of development projects, cash flow forecasts, preparation and issuing contractual documents, and risk assessments.

Commenting on his appointment, Shane said: “Like many others in the industry, I took interest in Hayfield’s growth story when the company won Housebuilder of the Year Award at the WhatHouse? Awards late last year.
“The quality of every development really shines through and I was keen to join the team and be a part of the ongoing success.
“I am excited to get to work on Hayfield’s portfolio of picturesque semi-rural sites, and hope to make use of my experience of working on major developments.”
Wesley Keane, commercial director at Hayfield, added: “We have a lot of prime sites progressing through the planning system, which we need to be in a position to start on site with as soon as possible.
“By appointing Shane – with whom I have worked previously – and Gareth to the team, we will be able to manage the commercial aspects of many more sites simultaneously.
“Shane and Gareth possess a wealth of valuable industry experience, working with major housebuilders.
“They also bring fresh thinking and knowledge of innovations in the sector, which will stand us in great stead as Hayfield continues to decarbonise all new and upcoming developments.”
