Rapleys makes two senior hires as it launches residential division

Property consultancy Rapleys has made two senior hires and launched a new residential team, which will be spearheaded by residential partner Angus Irvine.

The ‘Rapleys Living’ team will now be led by Tom Spencer (pictured above) — who joins Rapleys from Savills and takes over from Angus — encompassing all residential agency functions including senior living, student and co-living and BTR.

Tom is a specialist in residential, mixed-use and infrastructure related development across the South East, previously working at plc housebuilder and in general practice surveying roles within both the residential and commercial sectors.

Paul Dunne also joined as building consultancy partner from Colliers, where he was head of building consultancy in London.

Nick Fell, head of residential at Rapleys, said: “Tom brings a wealth of experience and will be a key part of our continued growth in the residential sector.

“The last year has been hugely transformative for our business with a new brand, several acquisitions, the reorganisation of the business around fewer core divisions and a huge investment in people.

“The launch of 'Rapleys Living' is a major step forwards in our ambitions — we are looking at opportunities to launch other residential agency-related services and hire talented people to further grow our expertise and knowledge in this area.”
