Igloo makes multiple senior appointments across the UK

Sustainability property developer Igloo has welcomed Joe Broadley (pictured above, left), as development director and Insiyah Khushnood (pictured above, right), as senior development manager, both for its north-east projects.

Joe will be overseeing existing projects such as Stephenson Quarter and the Pioneer in Newcastle, while looking for expansion opportunities across the North of England.

Insiyah will also be leading projects including the future phases of The Ouseburn in Newcastle.

Commenting on his appointment, Joe said: “Igloo is going through an incredible period of growth which I am delighted to be a part of, and its dedication to sustainable and socially responsible property development strongly resonates with my own personal principles.”

Insiyah added: “To be part of a business that is innovative and ethical in its creation of sustainable and lasting developments and communities is something I am really proud of.”

Igloo has also appointed a new development director for the South, Matt Woolgar, who brings over ten years’ experience to the role including his last position as project director at Hadley Property Group, as well as associate director of development at CA Ventures.

Matt will help manage and deliver the developer’s national pipeline of community- and climate-positive projects and is responsible for establishing and leading the team through the full acquisition, design, planning, procurement, construction, and sales phases of the development cycle.

As part of his role, he will be overseeing the central Winchester regeneration scheme, which will include the implementation of a wide-ranging mix of uses including flexible work and creative spaces, food and drink offerings, a hotel, and new public spaces.

Matt said he is delighted to be joining the company at “such an exciting time for the business.”
