HTB to hold development finance broker masterclass

Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB) will be hosting a special development finance event for brokers on 27th September in Central London.

The masterclass is designed to provide an introduction into development finance for brokers who have had some level of experience and exposure to development finance enquiries, and would like to deepen their knowledge and understanding of this sector.

Brokers can join key members of the HTB development finance team as well as guest speakers for a day of networking, learning, and practical advice in a unique London location.

Topics will include top underwriting secrets, development finance enquiries, construction training and legal due diligence.

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Alex Upton, managing director for development finance at HTB
  • Uliana Kuzmis, deputy managing director for development finance at HTB
  • Maxwell Vernon-Jones, development monitoring surveyor for development finance at HTB
  • Helen Johnston, head of real estate finance (London) at JMW Solicitors

The day will include a small breakfast, lunch, drinks, and networking opportunities at the end of the event.

Brokers can register their interest here.

Alex commented: “It has never been a more important time for brokers to fine-tune their development finance knowledge in the pursuit of supporting housebuilders and the supply of new homes in general.

“That’s why we’re holding this special event in September — we are providing products and service to the developer community up and down the country and we want to help brokers deepen their knowledge of the development finance market, so they can successfully place more enquiries.

“My message to brokers is simple: join us in our secret London venue for a day packed with ways to sharpen your development finance skills.

“You bring the questions; lunch, presentations, and notepads are on us.”
