Indurent submits plans for 339,000 sq ft I&L space

Indurent has submitted plans for 339,000 sq ft of industrial and logistics space at its Indurent Park Longbridge West development, near Birmingham.

This site was formerly part of the MG Rover manufacturing plant that closed in 2005.

Indurent is seeking permission to create 13 units of modern I&L space on the site, including office space, and target BREEAM ‘Excellent’ and EPC ‘A’ ratings with these.

Once complete, Indurent estimates these would create 590 full-time jobs and 280 roles during construction.

“This development will deliver high-quality, modern employment space, bringing investment, job creation, and economic growth to the area,” said Jessica Evans, senior planning manager at Indurent.

“As we reach 20 years since the closure of the MG Rover plant, the site is beginning a new chapter as a hub for business and innovation. We look forward to working closely with the local authority and community to bring these plans to life and ensure they deliver lasting benefits for Longbridge.”
