The flats represent the first shared ownership homes delivered by L&Q in Manchester, located at Victoria Riverside, and the first phase of a larger development.
This is called Red Bank Riverside and comprises three towers, City View, Park View and Crown View. City View and Park View completed in July 2025, and Crown View is set to be finished early next year. When complete, Red Bank Riverside will deliver 634 apartments and townhouses.
Some of the new shared ownership homes have already been secured with residents expected to move in this winter. The homes were secured through a Section 106 agreement and grant funded through L&Q’s Strategic Partnership with Homes England.
Found, FEC’s in-house lifestyle brand, has been appointed to manage City View. This tower also includes ground floor commercial units.

“At L&Q, we are committed to playing our part in tackling the housing crisis and working with partners to unlock major sites and deliver the homes, jobs and growth areas like Greater Manchester needs,” said Fiona Fletcher-Smith, CEO at L&Q.
“We are grateful for the partnership and support of Manchester City Council and FEC and we are delighted to celebrate this important milestone together.
“We are proud to be part of Victoria Riverside and look forward to welcoming our first residents in these new, much needed, affordable homes.”
Hilary Brett, development director at FEC, added: "Creating sustainable communities has always been at the heart of Victoria North, and these homes are a vital part of ensuring we deliver the right mix of housing for everyone in this area.
“It’s exciting to see residents beginning to put down roots here in Red Bank, and we look forward to watching this community grow and flourish as we continue building momentum across the wider programme."
