Ballymore Group has reported key corporate milestones as they were honoured at Property Week Magazine’s RESI awards.

The accolades came after Ballymore secured forward contracted sales of £1.7 billion across its London portfolio, revealing it has approximately 3,400 homes under construction in London and secured funding for a further 2,800 homes in London due to begin this year.

Ballymore received the Best Development award for Royal Wharf, a joint development with Oxley Holdings located in London’s Royal Docks, which will create 3,500 homes when completed in 2020.

Chairman and CEO of Ballymore Group, Sean Mulryan, who was awarded with Personality of the Year, said Ballymore had had a successful start to 2015 and the London market for new homes was very strong.

“The definitive result that the general election has delivered brings political stability which is good for people thinking of buying property in London. Ballymore expects very strong demand for its new developments as a result,” said Sean.

“The award reflects Ballymore’s thirty year contribution to developing residential projects in London. We have worked hard to maintain our focus on design and quality while shaping some of the capital’s most iconic developments.

“Our deep knowledge and experience in delivering projects from inception through to completion and post completion estate management in London puts us in a great position to take advantage of the exceptional development opportunities in the city.”
