Amicus has announced it has hired former West One Loans Operations Manager Anita Kirkbright as it looks to grow on all fronts.
Anita who has 11 years’ experience in the short term lending sector, will become Operations Manager at Amicus and admitted it was a “difficult” decision to leave West One.
“I enjoyed four happy and exciting years but the opportunity to join a lender who the whole sector now sees as the new shining light was too good to turn down and I am really looking forward to contributing to the expansion plans they have in place for the next three years,” said Anita.
The 2015 Bridging Lender of the Year also announced Gareth Ward has joined from Castle Trust as a senior underwriter, a position he has held at seven lenders during his 30 years in the industry.
“With my experience you get a feel for which lenders are making the right impressions in the market and having followed the rise of Amicus in the last three years I am delighted to have joined what I believe to be the most experienced and open minded team of underwriters I have worked with,” said Gareth.
“I am relishing the fact that clients are in direct contact with us and we have mandates to satisfy their requirements.”
Amicus’ new recruits come at the same time the lender announced it has record performance figures for July with completions totalling over £39m in value and 55 individual cases.
Keith Aldridge, Managing Director of Amicus, said he was very pleased that plans for growth were going so well and claimed, “Figures of these magnitudes do not just happen.”
“They are testimony to the outstanding work that our staff are doing on a daily basis and we are delighted to have succeeded in obtaining the talent of two very experienced people in Anita and Gareth,” said Keith.
