The deal includes the purchase of the Argentum business and six development sites, all located in the Greater Dublin Area.
Michael Stanley, CEO of Cairn Homes said: "The completion of the Argentum acquisition is a very significant deal for the company.
“[It] enables us to further scale our operations and build much needed family homes in the Greater Dublin Area, and other areas of significant under supply.”
The £82.64 million excludes a further potential payment of approximately £7.8m, to be paid in the event that one of the Argentum sites is rezoned for residential development.
Other developments acquired in the purchase include a 37 acre residential development site at Churchfields, Ashbourne.
“Construction has already commenced on the Ashbourne site and Cairn expects to take over operations within the coming weeks,” Michael added.
Cairn Homes are now live on four sites, with plans to be active on eight within the next 12 months.
